When He arises

Psalm 68 vs 1 – Let God arise ,Let His enemies be scattered:Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.

First of all , Our God is very powerful. Psalms 62 vs 11 says God has spoken once,twice I have heard this that power belongs to God. Psalm 66 vs 7 says He rules by His power forever. He is so powerful ,David said in Psalm 33vs7-8 Let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast . All God needs to do is speak and it is done .No wonder Jesus said God is able to bring children out of stones – Matthew 3 vs 9.

When God arises for a man , family or nation every from fear dissapears.Fear which is also lack of boldness hinders people from making  progress. The early Christians had this problem , they wanted to preach but lacked courage and besides they were constantly been persecuted for preaching the gospel. They cried to God and He arose for them  , the bible records in Acts 4 vs 31 that the place where they assembled together was shaken and they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness .

When He arises  chains and leashes  preventing you from fulfilling His plan for your life is broken.  In Acts 16 vs16-30 ,The people of Thyatira put Paul and Silas put in prison for delivering a girl possessed with the spirit of divination.The people of Thyatira did this to put an end to their ministries-careers. At night as Paul and Silas pray and sang to God,He arose and the foundations of the prison was shaken and their chains fell off. I pray today that God will arise for you and that thing preventing you from been what God wants you to be will be destroyed in the mighty name of Jesus , Amen.

When God arises mountains are moved. Psalms 114 vs 6 says mountains skip like rams and little hills like lambs before Him.Many of us have one thing or the other standing between us and our happiness. It could be poverty or debt ,sickness,barrenness but can i assure you that whatever it is will be moved when He arises for you &  He will arise today . One of the wives of the sons of prophet had a mountain- debt in  2 Kings 4 vs 1-7. Because she could not pay the debt her creditors resulted to selling her sons to pay her debts.  She ran to Elijah the prophet of God and God arose on her behalf. The little jar of oil  filled several vessels . She sold the oil and paid off her debt and she had enough money left to feed her children. Remember she obeyed the instructions from the man of God.

In Luke 13 vs 10-13 is the story of woman who was bent and could not stand straight.Most of us will find it difficult to stay bent for six hours but this woman was bent for eighteen years. I do not need to tell you she had a big mountain in her life, Jesus arose on her behalf and she was made straight.  If there are any mountain in your life i can assure that the Lord will move them and if it is impossible to move He can burn the mountain according to Jeremiah 51 vs 25 or simply turn them to plain Zechariah 4 vs 7.

When He arises storms are stilled. Psalm 65 vs 7 says He stills the noise of the sea , the noise of their waves and tumult of the people .Many a times the storms of life push us around ,we are harassed and bullied by forces than are more powerful  than us .By the special grace of God there will be an end to that in Jesus name,Amen. In Matthew 7 vs 23-27 Jesus was sleeping when  suddenly a great wind arose on the sea. The waves began to beat the boat, water began to fill the boat so they woke Jesus up. When He arose , He rebuked the winds and the sea and there was great calm. I rebuke every wind and storms in your life in the mighty name of Jesus.Amen .

When God arises everything the enemy has stolen from you will be restored. Could it be joy ,happiness ,peace of even freedom. Psalm 68 vs 20 says to God the Lord belong escapes from death. in other words even if death has stolen anything from you , If He arises death has no choice than to restore what it took from you. In Luke 7 vs 11-17 , death stole the only son of a widow and she was devastated. On their way to bury this boy Jesus met them and death had no choice than to give up what it took. 

The list of what happens when He arises is endless. He arose for the groom at the wedding in Cana – John 5vs 1-10 and his needs were met. On his wedding day the wine finished , imagine water and drinks finishing in the middle of a wedding ceremony and no means of getting more .Jesus arose for him and saved him of embarrassment especially in the front of the bride's family and special guest.

This brings us to the next question , how can I make God Arise for me ?

• Through praises and worship,Psalm 22 vs 3 says He inhabits the praises of His people. Psalm 100 vs 4 says enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. God loves worshipers.
• Fervent prayer & faith. James 5 vs 16 says the effective fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. James 4 vs 2 says you do not have because you do not ask. When you ask, do with if faith because without faith it is impossible to please God- Hebrew 11vs 6 .All you need is a faith like mustard seed , if you tell a mountain to move it will -Luke 17 vs 6.
• Unusual offering-Luke 6 vs 38 says Give, and it will given to you; good measure,pressed down, shaken together , and running over will be put into your bosom. For the same measure that you use it will be measured back to you. A man of God once said , if you do what no man has ever done to God before , God will do to that individual what He has never done for anyone before. Is it not true with Solomon ? unusual offering births His unusual move.
• Living a life of righteousness- Psalm 84 vs 11 says no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 11 vs 7 says He loves righteousness ; His countenance beholds the upright. Psalm 5 vs 17 says for you o Lord,will bless the righteous ;with favor You will surround him as with a shield. Psalm 34 vs 15 says the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are open to their cry. God loves righteousness

The second part of the Psalm 68 vs 1 says and His enemies are scattered. Every time we talk of God's enemies , what comes to mind is demons and anything competing for the glory of God in our lives and we are partially correct.

Do you know there are some of us who although are born again but still acting as His enemies? The reason why He has not acted is because He knows we do not know and that Is why He has made it possible for you to read this ? He said in 1 Samuel 2 vs 30 those who honor me I will honor meaning there are some people who do not honor Him. This is not talking of demons now , this is talking of His own children. He said in Proverbs 8 vs 17 , I love those who love Me which means there are some who do not love Him. The first commandment of God according to Matthew 22 vs 37 ,You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. If the Lord looks into your eyes and asks ,child have you loved me with all your heart , all your soul and mind what will your response be ? To be able to do this we must put him first , are we putting Him first ?

If we say we love Him , He will ask child when was the last time you gathered with me? Jesus said in Luke 11 vs 23 He who is not with me is against me , and he who does not gather with me scatters. We have been saved and all but when was the last time we spoke to people about Jesus is it a week ago, a month,year or cant even remember ?

The Lord is willing to arise for you but you need to invite Him. Why not make that decision today ,take that bold step to Him and He will arise for you .

The bible said in Romans 3 vs 23 that for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6 s 23 says For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The gift was explained in John 3 vs 16 , For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. What shall we do to be save ? The bible says in Romans 10vs 9 that if you confess with your mouth , Jesus is Lord , and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10 vs 10 – For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with our mouth that you confess and are saved.

Dear Jesus , I believe that You died for me and rose again on the third day. I confess I am a sinner. I need your love and forgiveness. Come into my heart . Forgive my sins. I receive Your eternal life. Confirm You love by giving me peace, joy and supernatural love for others, Amen.

Living as sojouners and not residents in this life

There is nothing that can arise in this life so great as to compare to the glory that awaits us at Christ’s glorious coming. There is nothing so horrible that can happen in this life that will not be forgotten in an instant of time when we see Jesus Christ face to face. Nothing that goes on in this life, whether good or bad, is worthy to be compared to the eternal weight of glory that constitutes our hope.

I believe the epistles of Paul, Peter, Jude and John present a picture of our hope which not only gives us comfort during difficult times but great strength during times of stress, great encouragement during times of duress and great joy at all times. I believe that if all we have to live for is this life only, we of all people are most to be pitied.

When Paul could not endure any more hardship, God caught him away and showed him what is coming after Christ returns. Whatever Paul saw, provided him with the strength and focus to endure everything that arose the rest of his ministry. Paul lived and breathed not only to share the Gospel now, but with the burning hope that Christ would return any minute.

It is obvious that those who participated in the First Century church, lived each day with the burning realization the trumpet could indeed sound any minute and they would leave this life to spend an eternity with God. It was this firm conviction which allowed men and women to totally commit themselves to serving Christ in this life with no interest in accumulating earthy treasures or so afraid of death they could not live.

So much of our current society is built on either extending life a few extra years or finding that elusive fountain of youth that eliminates the aging process and keeps us looking and feeling like a teenager when we are 85 years old. Most of the products advertised in various media all promise to make one feel or look younger. With all the emphasis on this life and none on the future, of course there will be little emphasis placed on the spiritual side of things.

Solomon spoke extensively of vanity. When the emphasis of life is only what is best for “me”; that is vanity. When all of life’s endeavors are for self gain; that is vanity. When every dream and detail in life revolves around “me”; that is vanity. When there is nothing any greater to live for than this life; that is vanity.

We all really need to look in the mirror and think about WHY we are so hung up on this body of ours. Why do we spend so much time, energy and money trying to transform this flesh into a shining temple? Paul said these bodies we live in are earthly tabernacles that will be discarded when Christ returns. Of course we should seek to take care of ourselves but not because of vanity.

The day is fast approaching when the Lord Jesus will call us home, either through death or His return. In light of this, what is our purpose in living? What is our reason for what we do? What is the great aim of our heart and motive for what we live for? Is our time, energy and money really ours to hoard and spend only on ourselves? Is not all that we have in this life a gift from God to share with others?

I urge us all to spend a little time thinking about how we live and what we live for. It never hurts to make sure we have not fallen into the bottomless pit of vanity and the self serving pursuit of happiness. We have life because God gave it to us and that life is a gift to be shared with others in light of our short stay as sojourners in this life.

A son returned home for a visit, obviously grappling with his faith in God. As they were conversing one day under an old oak tree, the son suddenly blurted out, “Dad , I just can’t believe in God anymore. Why, look at those pumpkins over there on the ground. They are big and heavy, yet have small and tender vines. But,this big oak tree, capable of supporting the weight of the pumpkins,only produces tine acorns. If there was really an really an intelligent God of this universe, He would have placed the pumpkin on this oak tree, and the tiny acorn on the fragile vine.”

Suddenly, an acorn fell from the tree, bouncing lightly off the top of the young mans head.As the truth slowly dawned , he sheepishly spoke, “Dan , thank Go

When He enters

When the Lord enters a life, a situation or a place ,His presence is felt instantly . Psalm 16 vs 11 says You will show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy , at thy right hand there are pleasures forever more . The Most High God needs no introduction when He enters into any life or a challenge, Exodus 15 vs 8 says and with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together ; the floods stood upright like a heap; The depths congealed in the heart of the sea.

When He enters , a failure becomes a success. It is a good thing to be successful ,Proverbs 13 vs 19 says a desire accomplished is sweet to the soul . If a desire accomplished is sweet to the soul then we know that a desire unaccomplished ( failure) is bitter to the soul .A typical example of a failure was Peter . No matter how hard he tried he had nothing to show for his efforts . He fished all night and caught absolutely nothing in Luke 5 vs 1 -7 . No matter how hard he tried it was as if he was not making any efforts at all, I mean what is the difference between a fisherman who fished all night and caught nothing and a fisherman who slept all night, they both have the same results which is zero fish . The King of Kings entered his boats and there was a complete turn around. Peter who was bitter suddenly began to grin when he let down his net and caught so much fishes that the nets began to break.

Joseph was another man who failed despite his credentials and CV. Joseph had the looks,the charisma and the brain. He was visionary leader with incredible foresight ,at a tender age he began to see what others could not see. He began to see the sun and moon bowing down to him – Genesis 37 vs 5-10 . He had excellent management skills, Potiphar must have noticed some talents in the life of Joseph before making him the overseer of his house -Genesis 39 vs 3-5 .Despite his resume, he ended up in the prison. Failure does not respect qualifications or grammar ,if it enters into a life that individual will go down. Failure had taken permanent residence in the life of Joseph but the Lord of the whole universe came into his situation and his story change. He became a prime minister in Egypt without campaign or election -Genesis 41 vs 14-40 .

When He enters , weakness turns to strength .Psalm 18 vs 2 calls Him our Strength in whom we trust, Psalm 46 vs 1 says God is our refuge and strength , A very present help in trouble. Isaiah 40 vs 31-32 says God renews the strength of those who wait on Him. When there is strength a man can do a lot for example Leviticus 26 vs 8 says five men will chase a hundred and a hundred will put then thousand to flight ,Joshua 23 vs 10 says one man of you shall chase a thousand. The book of Leviticus 26 vs 6 says you will chase your enemies and they shall fall by the sword before you. Only a strong man can chase his enemies . The lame man in Acts 3 vs 1-12 had so many enemies like poverty,lack,shame ,stagnancy, because he was weak in his feet and ankle bones there was nothing he could do about it. He could not get a proper job to deal with poverty in his life so he resulted to begging for alms. On a day like this , the Lord decided to pay Him a visit. Immediately the representative of the Most High God (Peter) grabbed him by the arm, strength came and He began to walk and dance . He could not chase all his enemies.

When He enters chronic illness turns to perfect health. Exodus 15 vs 26 calls Him Jehovah Rapha – The Lord our healer. In Mark 2 vs 1-11 , four men carried their friends to Jesus but could not get to were Jesus was because of the crowd. They decided to uncovered the roof and let down the bed on which the man was lying. Jesus forgave his sins and told him to take up his bed and go home. Immediately this fellow stood and began to walk. John 5 vs 1-16 talks about a man by the pool of Bethesda who had infirmity for thirty-eight years .This man's infirmity defiled medical science that, was why he took residence at the porch waiting for an opportunity to jump into the pool when the angel of the stirs the water. Immediately Jesus enter his health, he was healed instantly .

Lack becomes abundance when He enters. Genesis 20 vs 13-14 calls Him Jehovah Jireh ( the Lord will provide)The people of Samaria lacked in every area or their life because they were besieged by the King of Syria- 2 Kings 6 vs 24. This siege led to a great famine , it was so bad that only the rich could afford bird droppings while the poor had no other choice than to eat their dead children. They cried to the Lord and He answered. Within 24 hours they moved from absolute lack to extreme wealth . The wife of the sons of prophet in Kings 4 vs 1-11 got into debt because of lack . The creditors knew that she could not afford to pay her debts because she was experiencing first class lack so they decided to take her sons and sell them to raise cash. She ran to Elisha the man of God who gave her a simple instruction . She went and borrow vessels and did as she was told. By the time she knew it her house was filled with several vessels of oil. The little jar oil had multiplied in several vessels of oil .

Death becomes life when He enters .According to John 11 vs 25 ,Jesus is the resurrection and the life . Isaiah 42 vs 5 says the Most High gives breath to the people on earth and spirit to those that walk on it. Revelations 1 vs 18 says He holds the key to life and death. Because He holds the keys to life and death ,He decides what dies and what lives .Matthew 3 vs 9 says He could bring children out of stones. The womb of Sarah was dead as a stone. Romans 4 vs 19 says Abraham's body was a good as dead- since he was about a hundred years old – and that the womb of Sarah was also dead. After the Lord's visit in Genesis 18 vs 1-15 , the bodies of Abraham and Sarah came alive . Out of a womb that was considered dead came a bouncing baby boy. Sarah became nursing mother at the age of ninety. J

Jesus went to Nain with His disciples in Luke 7 vs 11-17. On getting to the gate, He saw a group of people going to bury a young man , the only son his mother and she was a widow. When Jesus saw the mother , He was moved with compassion and He told the crying mother not to sweep. He touched the coffin of the boy and told him to wake up and immediately the boy stood and began to speak. The waters of Jericho was bad and the ground was barren- 2 Kings 2 vs 19-22 . The water brought death and bareness to everything around it. The men of the city reported this to Elisha (man of God) . He asked them to bring a new bowl with some salts and poured it at the source of the water. The water became healed seized to cause death but life.

The Most High God is so big when He passes , He can not go unnoticed. It will be impossible not to notice the One whose arms are everlasting – Deuteronomy 33 vs 27 .His legs are so long the bible says He sits in heaven and makes earth is footstool-Isaiah 66 vs 1. His ears are so big that He hears when the whole world is praying at the same time. His eyes are so big they run to and fro throughout the whole earth-1 Chronicles 16 vs 9. According to Exodus 15 vs 8 , the blast of His nostrils are powerful enough to part a sea.

He is not only big but very powerful .Jesus calls Him Power in Mark 14 vs 62. David says in Psalm 62 vs 11 God has spoken once ,twice I have heard this: Power belongs to God. Psalm 33 vs 8-9 says let all the earth fear the Lord; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him , for He spoke, and it was done; He commanded , and it stood fast. He is so powerful fire travels before Him to consume His enemies – Psalm 97 vs 3.Psalms 68 vs 1 says when He arises His enemies are scattered and those who him flee before Him. It is impossible for a God like this to enter your life and your enemies will not be roasted. It is impossible to have such a God in your life and one manager or boss will withhold your promotion or bully you. No one can withstand Him. Your challenges can not stand Him. Psalms 50 vs 3 says our God comes and will not be silent, a fire devours around him, and around him a tempest rages. Your mountains can not stand the One who smoke rose from His nostrils; consuming fire came from His mouth , burning coals blazed out of it .

If you can get Him into that matter then consider it resolved. The only problem is moving Him into the situation. It is not an easy to invite earthly kings and queens into our houses.  The presidents of the world don’t just go to anywhere ,anyhow . You don’t see them everyday on TV chatting and talking , you don’t see them every where . They don’t attend every parties, they only go to special functions . If the Kings of this world are like that how much more the King of Kings . To move Him, requires going extra miles . For example to get Him to fight on our behalf we have to really praise Him. When we talk of praises , we are not talking of the 20 minutes praise and worship . We are talking of real praise not thank you Jesus four times. Praises move Him a lot because He loves people with a heart of gratitude. In Acts 16 vs 25-26 , Paul and Silas began to sing praises to Him and He caused an earthquake . The chains on every prisoner fell .

A Life of righteousness moves Him. Job was a man whose life moved God, Job 1 vs 1 says the man was blameless and upright, one who feared and shunned evil. God blessed him until he became the greatest man of all the people of east- Job 1 vs 3. The bible said in Daniel 1 vs 8 that Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile with the portion of the Kings meal. Daniel decided not to defile himself and keep himself pure for His maker. Daniel 1 vs 17 says as for these young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Obedience also moves him . Isaiah 1 vs 19 says if you are willing and obedient you shall eat the good of the land. Exodus 15 vs 26 says and said, if you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God, and will that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put non of these diseases upon you, which I brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that heals you. Jeremiah 7 vs 23 says but I gave them this command: Obey me , and I will be your God and you will be my people. Walk in all the ways I command you , that it may go well with you. Our earthly parents dislike children who don’t obey them , how much the our Father in heaven. When He says pay tithe , pay it without question. When He says forgive , forgive because if choose not forgive we are disobeying Him. When He says Love your neighbor as your self do that . When He says Honors your father and your mother so that your days will be long ,just do it. When we choose not to obey Him , we are rebelling against Him.1 Samuel 15 vs 23 says rebellion Is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

If we are living In sin , it will be impossible to move Him because He is too holy. He can not come near anything unholy .It will might impossible for anyone who is yet to give his life to Christ to actually move Him to . John 14 vs 6 says Jesus said to him' I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Jesus said in John 10 s 30 that I and the Father are one. Matthew 10 vs 40 says He who receives Jesus receives the One who sent Jesus which is the Most High God. If you have Jesus, you have the Most High God.

The expectation of the righteous

Proverbs 23 vs 18 says for surely there is an end, and thine expectation shall not be cut off .

Everything that has a beginning has an ending . According to the bible ,a day begins in the evening and ends in the morning. Genesis 1 vs 5b says so the evening and the morning were the first day;Genesis 1 vs 8b says so the evening and the morning were the second day e.t.c

The only One who has no ending is God because He has no beginning. The book of Revelations 1 vs 8 refers to Him as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End , the One Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty. 1 Timothy 1 vs 17 calls Him King Eternal , Isaiah 26 vs 4 refers to Him as an Everlasting Strength and Isaiah 41 vs 4 says He is the First and the Last .

The One who is decides the outcome your challenges or the results of your effort or how you will end is the Most High God. Proverbs 19 vs 21 says there are many plans in a man's heart , nevertheless the Lord's counsel – that will stand. Isaiah 46 vs 10 says declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done , saying 'My counsel shall stand , and I will do all My pleasure' . Psalm 33 vs 11 says the counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations. Isaiah 14 vs 24 says The Lord of hosts has sworn saying, “surely as I have thought , so it shall come to pass, and as I have purposed it shall stand . Isaiah 14 vs 27 says For the Lord has purposes , and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out , And who will turn it back ?

Sickness can not decide your end .Exodus 15 vs 26 says He is the Lord that heals you . Exodus 23 vs 25 says He will take away sickness from you , Deuteronomy 7 vs 15 says He will keep you free from every disease and inflict them on all who hate you .Psalm 41 vs 3 says the Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness . Psalm 147 vs 3 says He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds .In Mark 5 vs 25-34 is the story of a woman who had an incurable illness-blood hemorrhage. She suffered from this illness for twelve years . She did everything possible but instead of getting better ,she got worse. She exhausted all her resources because the doctors knew her sickness had no cure and decided to use her as a cash cow. She touched the hem of the garment of Jesus and was cured of an ailment that was meant to kill her. The man at the beautiful gate in Acts 3 vs 1-13 was reduced to a beggar because he was lame. He could not pursue any career because he was disabled from birth but the Lord touched him through Peter and John and he began to walk and dance .The mother-in-law of Peter was a hardworking woman and a very good host but high fever confined her to the bed in Mark 1 vs 29-31 . Jesus took her be the hand and her she was healed.

Humans can not decide your end .Jeremiah 17 vs 17 says God is the hope in the day of doom. Psalm 18 vs 31 says For who is God, except the Lord ? And who is a rock , except our God? Psalm 10 vs 14 calls Him the Helper of Fatherless .Psalm 62 vs 11 says God has spoken once , Twice I have heard this : That power belongs to God. Psalm 33 vs 8 – 9 says Let all the earth fear the Lord ; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him,for He spoke , and it was done ; He commanded and it stood fast. It does not matter of how they try , they are only wasting their time . Psalm 115 vs 3 says But our God is in heaven ; He does whatever He pleases. Isaiah 54 vs 17 says No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in Judgment He shall condemn. Proverbs 18 vs 10 says the name of the Lord is a strong tower ,the righteous run to it and are safe. The citizens of Judah conspired against Samson in Judges 15 vs 11-15 . They bounded Samson and gave him to the Philistines , the spirit of the Lord came  mightily upon him and he killed a thousand men with the jaw bone of an ax. The brothers of Joseph tried everything in their power to make sure that the dreams of Joseph did not materialize. They said to one another “look the dreamer is coming ,let us kill him and throw in a pit ,we shall see what becomes of his dream- Genesis 37 vs 19-20.At the end Joseph became a prime minister in Egypt and by the time we get to Genesis 50 vs 18 , we see the brothers falling before Joseph and begging to be his servant.

Circumstances can not decide your end. Daniel 2 vs 21 says our God changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. Every circumstances bow at the name of Jesus .Philippians 2 vs 10 says at the name of Jesus every knee should bow ,of those in heaven, and those on earth , and of those under the earth. Romans 8 vs 31 says if God be for us , who can be against us ? 2 Peter 2 vs 9 says then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of Judgment. Psalm 113 vs 7- 8 says He raises the poor out of the dust , and lifts the needy out of the ash heap , that He may seat him with princes . Isaiah 45 vs 11 says thus says the Lord, the Holy One of Israel, and his maker: “ask Me of things to come concerning My sons;and concerning the work of My hands ,you command Me. Luke 1 vs 37 says for with God nothing will be impossible. In 2 Kings 2 vs 19-22 is the story of a lake that brought death to the people of the city. The city was lovely situated and everything was perfect except the water was bad. Because the water was bad , the ground was barren and this meant death to all inhabitants. They consulted the man of God over this issue and he put salt at the source of this water and it was healed. One of the wives of the sons of the prophet was owing some money and creditors threatened to come and take her sons as slaves in 2 Kings 4 vs 1-7. She was very poor and she inherited debt from her husband . She ran to Elisha the prophet of God and her story changed.

Lack or poverty can not decide your end. Poverty and lack can not decide your end because the world belongs to God. Genesis 14 vs 19 says our God is the possessor of the heavens and the earth . Psalm 24 vs 1 says the earth is the Lord's , and all its fullness,the world and those who dwell there in. Psalm 89 vs 11 says heaven and earth belongs to God,He founded the world and all that in it. Deuteronomy 10 vs 14 says to the Lord our God belong the heavens,even the highest heavens the earth and everything in it. Because everything belongs to God your lack will be taken care of . Psalm 23 vs 1 says the Lord is my shepherd , I shall not want . Philippians 4 vs 19 says He will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Psalm 34 vs 10 says the lions may grow weak and hungry , but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing. James 1 vs 5 says God gives generously to all without finding fault .In Luke 5 vs 1-7 is the story of Peter who fished and caught nothing. Peter did what any fisherman would do , he fished all night and caught nothing because of circumstances beyond his control. The fishes for some reasons were no were to be found but Jesus came on his boat and lack turned to abundance.

The economy has no say in how you will end up . The Lord is the owner of the economy . Haggai 2 vs 8 says silver and gold belong to God. The outcome of your business does not depend on the FTSE 100 index .John 3 vs 27 says a man receives nothing except it be giving from heaven. James 1 vs 17 says every good gift and every perfect gift is from above , and comes down from the Father of Lights , with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. The only one who can build you a house regardless of the economy or wages is God. Psalm 127 vs 1 says except the Lord builds the house , they labor in vain they that build it. Isaac sowed during famine and reaped in the same year a hundred fold- Genesis 26 vs 12. The same land that was barren for others was extremely fertile for Isaac. The King of Syria besieged Samaria and this resulted In famine in 2Kings 6 vs 24-26.The people cried to God and a nation ravaged by famine began to dwell in abundance all because the Lord made the foot steps of few lepers to sound like the marching of a mighty army. The Syrians heard it and fled leaving food and other garments 2 Kings 7 vs 6-8 .

I have a good news for you today , because the Lord decides the end your end shall be great . Jeremiah 29 vs 11 says For I know the thoughts that I have toward you , said the Lord , thoughts of peace , and not of evil , to give you an expected end .The bible says in Job 8 vs 7 that though your beginning maybe small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly. Your situation might be causing you to cry but can I show the book of Psalm 126 vs 5 which says those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. You maybe crying but I can assure you that joy is coming because Psalm 30 vs 5 says for His anger is but for a moment , His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night but joys comes in the morning.

Aside God , the other individual who has a say in our we end is us. How do we decide our end? it  is through our expectation because our expectation will not be cut short. Many of us are expecting good things but our actions says otherwise. The only way to expect good things is through our action. As a single man you can not be lazy and you expect God to give you His daughters as wife , it is impossible . Proverbs 10 vs 4 says lazy hands makes a man poor. As a woman you can not be lazy and not know how to cook or clean the house and you want God to give you His son. No one wants their children to suffer and that applies to God too. We do not need to tell God our expectation because He knows by our actions. If we are diligent in our business God knows that we are expecting promotion because Proverbs 22 v 29 says seest a man diligent in his business , he will not stand before ordinary men but he will stand before kings. If we forgive those that offends us , the Lord knows that we want forgiveness too because Matthew 6 vs 12 forgive us as we have also forgiven those who sin against us. When a boy or girl begins to obey his parents the Lord knows that such a child is expecting long life and prosperity because Ephesians 6 vs 2-3 says Honor your father and your mother that it may be well and that you may enjoy long life on the earth. When you honor God with your tithes and offerings , He definitely knows what you expect!

When you come to God He knows what you are expecting because James 4 vs 8 says come near to God and He will come near you, wash your hands , you sinners , and purify your hearts , you double minded. If you take a little step to God , He will take a mighty step to you.

The bible said in Romans 3 vs 23 that for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 6 s 23 says For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. The gift was explained in John 3 vs 16 , For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. What shall we do to be save ? The bible says in Romans 10vs 9 that if you confess with your mouth , Jesus is Lord , and believe in
your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10 vs 10 – For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with our mouth that you confess and are saved.

Dear Jesus , I believe that You died for me and rose again on the third day. I confess I am a sinner. I need your love and forgiveness. Come into my heart . Forgive my sins. I receive Your eternal life. Confirm You love by giving me peace, joy and supernatural love for others, Amen.
