God our Big Daddy

What is the definition of a Daddy, by dictionary definition a Daddy is a father.

By definition a father is one's male parent. I read a poem that describes the Dad in a very lovely way …. A Dad is a person who is loving and kind,

And often he knows what you have on your mind.

He's someone who listens,

suggest and defends.

A Dad can be patient,helpful and strong.

There is a very big difference between a dad and father. In the west today, the concept of dad is missing. Some of us don't understand the meaning of the word dad because we never had dads, we had fathers. We have people who meet our financial needs but who don’t have a clue of whats on our mind,we cant even discuss things with them because they will never understand. In Africa today, we have fathers who have many wives which makes it very hard to be a dad and in the east we have fathers who are dads to the boys and fathers to the girls. It is a shame that the concept of dad is fading away due to financial constraints or social pressures. Sometimes its not the fault of the male parents, some of them need to work long hours to put food on the table. They come back from work tired all they want to do is eat and go to bed only to rise early the next morning to go to work.

A dad provides for the family, 1 timothy 5:8 says if anyone chooses not provide for his own household,he is worse than an unbeliever. When I talk of provision, I am not talking of footing the bills alone but I am talking been there emotional, physically and all. A dad fears the lord -Deuteronomy 6:2;Gives guidance -Proverbs 22:6 says train you child in the way they should go;Don't bully kids -Ephesians 6:4 says do not provoke your children to wrath; Disciplines his kids- Proverbs 13:24 says sparing the rod spoils the child and ,Proverbs 23:13-14 says ensure you correct your child,beating him with a rod saves his /her soul from hell.

I bring to you today the First Daddy -Isaiah 41:4 says he is the first and the last , a Daddy to every other daddies- Acts 3;13 calls him the God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob,a Daddy to those that don't have dads- Psalm 10:14 calls him the helper of the fatherless, the true Daddy- Psalm 18:2 says he is a rock,fortress , deliverer,a shield ,stronghold,horn of our salvation and who we can trust. Brethren I am talking of a Daddy who can meet needs-Psalm 24:1 says the earth is the lord and the fullness there in. I am sure you want such a Daddy, I am talking of a Daddy who owns all the financial institutions , connections to mention a few- 1 Corinthians 10:26 says he owns the earth and everything in it. A Daddy whose word is tested and tried-Psalm 18:30 says his words are proven.

This brings me to a question, do you know this Daddy, how you met this Daddy, have you accepted him into your life as your personal lord and savior,are you his friend?I am talking about God, he is our Daddy and the only way to make him your Daddy is accept to Jesus christ as your personal lord and savior- John 14:6 says he is the way , the truth and life , no one goes to the father except through him. God wants to save you that is why he sent his only begotten son ( John 3:16) .Jesus wants to save you today and give you life. John 10:10 says thieves come to steal and destroy but Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundance. If you have not giving your life to Christ , it is not too late . He will forgive all your sins , did I hear ALL ? Yes all .

You can do so now by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is lord . Please pray this prayer with me : Lord Jesus, I give myself to You,for You to be my only Lord and Savior. I renounce and repudiate all other loyalties, and I desire no other Lord but You. Please come into me and take control of my life.Mold me to your will and to your use. His purpose

John 10:10- The thief does not come to except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
The verse above talks about two things , the definition of a thief and the purpose of Christ.
A thief is someone who steals ,John 10:10 likens a thief to a murderer , that’s why Zechariah 5:3-4 says God dislikes thieves and he has decided to take an action against them by cursing them personally , I pray that everything thing stealing your joy will be subjected to Gods anger in Jesus name.Amen
The purpose of Christ on earth is to ensure you have an abundant life,by that i mean a prosperous life,a fulfilled life,a disease-free life, a complain-free life and a very very happy life. Been a tenant is not fulfilling at all because the Landlord may decide at any time that he wants every tenants to leave and they have no choice except they want trouble .I am happy to tell you that the purpose of Jesus Christ on earth is to put a smile on your face. Mark 14:65 says Jesus was severely beaten and the reasons for this is to ensure our healing, Isaiah 53:4-5 by his stripes we are healed. His purpose is to ensure that struggling becomes a thing of the past in our lives , John 10:10 says he came that we might have abundant life-abundant life is not struggling to survive. Jesus did not come so that we will lack good things, Psalm 34:10-says it is possible for young lions to lack but those who seek the lord shall not lack any good thing. Friends, it is a terrible thing to be poor, Proverbs 14:20-says a poor man is hated even by his own neighbor. Jesus did not come so that you will fail in that exams or endeavor , Jeremiah 29:11-the plans of God for your life is to give you a future and hope, Psalm 35:27 says our God has pleasure in the prosperity of his people. Some quote Matthew 19:24 which says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God and say Christians should be poor or else they will go to hell. Ecclesiastes 10:19 says money answers everything. Haggai 2:8 says the silver is mine and the gold is mine says the lord of hosts. Jesus did not come so that you will be barren in your marriage, no as a matter of fact Psalm 127:3 says children are the heritage from the lord,Genesis 1:28 – says be fruitful and increase in number.Proverbs 14:22 says a good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children not to pet. Jesus did not create you to be lonely or single Matthew 18:20-for where two or three are gathered in my name , I am there in there midst.Ecclesiastes 4:11-says if two lie down together, they will keep warm;but how can one be warm alone? You are not created to hug pillows or teddy bear , I pray today that God will put an end to compulsory hugging of teddy bears or pillow in Jesus name.Amen.
Lastly, God did not create you to be far from him , God wants you to be close to him so he can bless you and provide for you. Isaiah 49:16 – God has engraved us in his palms of his hands so that we will continually be before him, Zechariah 2:23 – God told Zerubbabel that he will make him a signet ring for he has chosen him ,no wonder the bible says in Zechariah 4:7 – who are you , o great mountain Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain. Jeremiah 29:12-then you will call upon me and go pray to me , and I will listen to you, Jeremiah 33:3-says all you need to do is just call him and he will show you great and mighty things which you do not know.Psalm 145:19- says the lord fulfills the desires of those that fear him, Psalm 25:14-says the secret of the lord is with those who fear him, Dan 2:22 -says he reveals deep and secret things ,he knows whats in the darkness,Psalm 121:8-says the lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in. His purpose can only come to fruition when you are close to God. The only way to get help from God is to come to him,Psalm 4:3- says the lord has set apart him that is godly for himself,: the lord will hear when I call to him.
The only way for the purpose of Christ to be fulfilled in your is to give your live to Christ. John 3:16- says for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. You can not continue to fight that battle alone, Matthew 11:28- come to me , all ye that labor and are heavy laden , and I will give you rest. John 14:21-says he who has my commandments and keeps them is the one who loves me; and he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will love him and will disclose myself to him. if you have not giving your life to Christ , Please do so now . John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. . Romans 10 :9-That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Please pray this pray with me, if you have backslided Jesus wants to take you back .

In the sight of God

Again and again we come across several phrases in the bible , one of them is IN THE SIGHT OF GOD or before God. Three kings found them selves in a situation that required divine attention .They had walked around in a wilderness for 7 days and they got tired. They were in the middle of nowhere with no water at all. They called on a man of God (Elisha) .He asked them to litter the valley with ditches because God had promised to fill the valley and this will be done without rain or wind. 2 Kings 2 :18 – Elisha told the Kings that filling a valley with water without rain is a simple matter in the sight of God. What he was saying in a nutshell was doing the impossible was a simple thing before God or by God’s standard nothing is impossible.Do you know by the standard of God that your situation that looks impossible is a simple matter . When God told Abraham that Sarah would be a nursing mother by the time next year ,Sarah Laughed . Why did she laughed , she was around 89 years old when the Lord spoke and had stopped menstrating for over 29 years !Genesis 18: 14 – the Lord asked anything is too hard for him i.e. by his standards is there anything called impossiblity ? You all know that rest of the story . I pray that God who specializes in making the impossible possible will make all the impossibles your life possibles in Jesus name. Please let us always remember to ask him because by his standards your matter is a simple matter! Genesis 18:3 – Abraham asked for favor in the sight of God ( favor by God’s standards ) and a divine visitation, we know when the Most High decides to pay you a visit all past prayers are answered.
God sees things different from the way we see things , he Sarah’s impossible situation as possible .To him filling several ditches with water without rain is a simple matter.
Gen 6:11 -The earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence . In this bible passage we see God looking at the earth and he found it very corrupt or it was corrupt in his sight. In the sight of men of that was the way to live -in violence and been corrupt. If the people of the earth at this time saw things the way God sees things they would have changed their ways but they did not .What was right to them was an abomination to God. In our places of work , we do not work by our own standards or do things our way but the way the company wants it to be done. In our places of work we are expected to conduct ourselves in certain ways , we may like or not but in the sight of the company that is how we expected to behave once we get home we can do things our way. Every time we misbehave in the sight of the organization, we are either disciplined or dismissed. If we are un-willing to conduct ourselves well in the sight of the organization there will be problem. Brethren the same thing applies to us as christians .We are expected to conduct ourselves according to the standards of God not our standards. Sir /Ma It is not negotiable ,it is either His way or no way . We can do things our way and we will get our own results but we can do it His way and get His results. If we want Him to command his blessings to begin to chase us until they overtake us ( Deuteronomy 28:2) we must obey him. Galatians 6:7 – do not waste your time it is what you sow that you will reap ,if we do right things (righteousness)in his sights then he will bless us. It does not matter how long we have been christains it is those who love him in his sight that he will love – Proverbs 8:17 . Sir /Ma let us forget church titles it only those who honor him (in his sight ) that he will honor (1 Samuel 2:30) . Deuteronomy 6:18 -and you shall do what is right in the sight of the Lord, that it may be well with you and that you may go in and possess the good land of which the lord swore to your fathers. Brethren if want it to be well with us we need to do what is right in the sight of the lord not our sight or community’s sight. Christians dont return evil for evil.1 Peter 3:9 -not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling , but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this , that you will inherit a blessing;1 Thessalonians 5:15 – see that no one renders evil to evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all; Romans 12:19 – beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath, vengeance is mine , I will repay says the Lord.
Christians dont keep malice or grudges ,Mattew 5:23-24 – before you offer offerings to God go and reconcile with everyone you are fighting with. We should have place in our heart to forgive everyone regardless ,Matthew 6:12 – the only condition to get forgiveness is to forgive.
Brethren as a believer we should always conduct ourselves in the best way ,Philippians 4:5 – let your gentleness be known to all man . The Lord is at hand. When we conduct or dress or act in a way that is not befitting for christains lets us not say Christianity is in the heart.It is a lie and its not biblically . Mattew 7:16 – ye shall know them by their fruits, do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles . We can not be doing things like the children of darkness and say christianity is in the heart. Proverbs 20:11 – even a child is known by his deeds , whether what he does is pure and right .
1 Samuel 24:13 – as the old saying goes, From evildoers come evil deeds ;Luke 6:43 no good trees bears bad fruit nor bad tree bear a good fruit.
God measures us by his standards not ours , do we do things that are terrible in the sight of the lord and we call our selves christains ? Do we talk the way God expects us to talk ? Do we pray the way God expects us to pray ? By Gods standards are we kind , merciful, loving , forgiving, giving and caring ? The work assigned to us in the church do we do it to our own standards or to the standards of God ? In that place of God do you that job that God has giving to you to your standards or to the standards of God ? Do you treat that your wife according to Gods standards or your mood ? Do you treat that your husband according to Gods standard or the period of the month ? Do you smile because it is the right thing to do or do you smile sincerely and radiate the love of christ ?
The only to God is through Jesus and that is Standard . John 3:16 says for God so loved the whole that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 14: 6 – Jesus said to him , I am the way , the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. The only way in the sight of God is the Jesus. Families and friends may fail you but Jesus never fails . The help you can get from your families or friends is limited and dependent of so many factors but with Jesus he is limitless. Why not give Jesus a trial today ? Brethren if you have not giving your life to Christ I will like to invite you to do so now. If you have backslidden the lord wants to take you back too. For those that have not giving their life to Christ, God wants to establish his covenant with you .Romans 6:23 -says for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Isaiah 1:18-says come now and let us reason together , though your sins are like scarlet , they shall be as white as know;Matthew 11;28- come to me , all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Everything the Lord created has ears

Romans 4 vs 17 – As it is written ,’ I have made thee a father of many nations.’ He is our father in the sight of God , in whom he believed- the God who gives life to the dead and calls things that are not as though they were .
The English Standard Version says God calls into existence the things that do not exist.
God is the creator of all things , Genesis 1 vs 1 says In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth ; Colossians 1 vs 16 says For by Him all things were created : things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible , whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities ;all things were created by Him and for Him. God is the ultimate Creator , He created all things for His pleasure. The book of Revelations 4 vs 11 says Thou art worthy , our Lord and God , to receive glory, honor, and power , because you have created all things , and by your pleasure they exist and were created , Amen.
By definition, the ear is the organ that detects sound and also aids in balance and body position. Everything the Lord created has ears, living and non- living things , objects and particles just name it. In Genesis 1 vs 11-12, The Lord gave out an instruction to the earth to bring forth grass ,herbs that yield seed , and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its king and the earth did as it was told . The earth heard the instruction of God and brought forth grass,herbs and fruit trees.
The Lord said in Deuteronomy 30 vs 19 , I call heaven and earth as witness this day against you , that I have set before you life and death , blessing and cursing : therefore choose life , that both you and your descendants may live. The Lord would not have called the heavens and the earth if He knew they would not hear Him? We hear through our ears. In Deuteronomy 32 vs 1 , Moses said ‘give ear , O heavens, and I will speak; and hear , O earth , the words of my mouth ‘. Moses knew that heavens and earth has ears . I speak today that the heavens and the earth will begin to favor you in Jesus name, Amen.
Lazarus suddenly fell sick and Jesus was informed . In John 10 vs 11 , Jesus Christ assured his disciples that the sickness was a temporary thing and it will not lead to death but before you know it , death snatched him away. After 4 days Jesus Christ decided to visit Lazarus, when He got there , Lazarus was dead . He was not just dead but brain dead for 4 days . When Jesus got to where he was buried , He shouted Lazarus and death heard the voice of Jesus and he released Lazarus. The bible records in John 11 vs 43 that Lazarus came out still bound hand and foot with grave clothes and his face was still wrapped with a cloth.Jesus later asked them to loose him and let him go .
Sarah was 90 years old when the Lord visited Abraham. The last thing on her mind was getting pregnant . She actually laughed when the Lord told Abraham in Genesis 18 vs 11 that at the time of Life that she will have a son .She had not menstruated in 25 years besides that , both of them were well advanced in age and Sarah had passed the age of childbearing – Genesis 18 vs 11 . When the Lord told Abraham that Sarah will conceive , he was indirectly speaking to the body of Abraham and Sarah. The body of Sarah that had been sleeping for 25 years heard the voice of God and everything that had slept woke up . The body that was considered old at 89 years heard the voice of God and a baby came out of that same body at 90 . She lived for another 31 years after the Lord spoke !Sarah died at the age of 120 – Genesis 23 vs 1 .
In Mark 4 vs 35 – 40 , Jesus was sleeping when a great windstorm arose and the sea waves began to beat into the boat. The disciples began to panic so they woke Jesus Christ up . When he woke up , he rebuked the wind and and said to the sea , peace be still . The wind heard and was stood still. The bible recorded in Mark 4 vs 39 that the wind ceased and there was a great calm. The wind that was misbehaving simply heard the word of God and started behaving itself.I pray that the Lord will rebuke every storm in your life in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen .
The Lord sent a prophet to Bethel to prophesy against an altar. As the man of God was prophesying , King Jeroboam heard the prophecy and stretched out his hand to the man of God saying ‘arrest him’ , this displeased God .The Most High told Jeroboam’s hand to remain stretched until further notice. All effort by Jeroboam to withdraw his hands proved abortive . The bible said in 1 Kings 13 vs 4 that his hand which he stretched against the man of God could not pull back to himself. Thank God for His mercy ,the King pleaded with the man of God and the hand was restored. I pray today that every hand pointing against you will wither in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Nobody prays to be sick for a second talk less of been sick for a week. Everyone loves progress , everyone wants to move from good to better and from better to best .The man at the pool of Bethesda was sick for 38 years and in that 38 year his situation had gone from bad to worse. He was lonely , sick , poor ,unhappy to mention a few . Everyone who saw him knew that he was suffering, the bible said when Jesus saw him lying there, he knew had been in that condition for so long -John 5 vs 6 . Out of compassion Jesus asked the man , do you want to be made whole ? the man began to explain to Jesus that an angel normally comes from time to time to stir the water. Jesus could not endure this man in his state of pain for another minute so he simple told him to rise and walk . The body that had stopped functioning for over 38 years heard the voice of Jesus and began to function . The situation that had never improved in a long time began to improve. The Man took his bed and walk.I pray today that everything that has stopped functioning in your life will begin to function in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Everything the Lord created has ears. Jesus even confirmed that in Matthew 17 vs 20 that we can say to a mountain to move from here to there and the mountain would move. This means even mountains have ears too .
Revelations 4 vs 11 says everything was created for the pleasure of God, Colossians 1 vs 16 says he created everything for Himself. He can command everything he created to begin to bless a man and He can also tell them to fight a Man. In 2 Samuel 8 , the armies of Israel began to fight the servants of David. The Lord commanded the forest to fight on behalf of David. The bible records in 2 Samuel 8 vs 18 that the forest killed more people than the sword devoured.
Matthew 11 vs 15 says He that hath ears, let him hear. Most people say they believe in God but not Jesus. Jesus said in John 10 vs 30 that He and the Father are one. There is no other way to God except through Jesus. Jesus is the way , the truth and the Life ; no one goes to the Father except through him-John 14 vs
If you want everything the Lord created to obey you when you speak to them just abide in Jesus, John 15 vs 7 says abide in Me and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and it shall be done for you. If you have not giving your life Christ why not do so now. The bible says in Matthew 10 vs 40 that he who receives Jesus receives God . If anyone refuses Jesus ,he is indirectly telling God you are not welcome. Jesus Christ said in Matthew 12 vs 30 that ‘anyone who is not with me is against me’. That is to say anyone who is not with Jesus is against God. He also said anyone who is not gathering with Him is scattering what He has gathered- Matthew 12 vs 30 . We are either gathering with Jesus or scattering what Jesus has gathered. We gather with him by witnessing about Him (Jesus) to our friends, families and the whole world. If we choose not to witness about Jesus , we are indirectly sending people away from Christ. Please ask yourself this question , are you gathering with Christ ( preaching the gospel) or scattering what Christ has gathered ( not preaching the gospel) ? If you have not been preaching the gospel please repent today and start witnessing to people about Christ.

Tithes and Offerings

Do you know it is a sin not to pay tithes and offerings ? non payment of tithes and offerings is something the Almighty frowns upon .

The bible says in Malachi 3:10 -Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it]. Tithing (acting of paying tithes) is Gods command and when you refuse to pay your tithes you are robbing God. You mean if i do not pay my tithes , i am robbing God. Yes ,capital YES  . In the book of Malachi 3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. When a man robs God he is stealing from God Malachi 3:9 -You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole nation .

I appeal to you brethren God dislikes people thieves and robbers,whether through tithes and offerings or any other way. If you steal from man or God you putting yourselves under a curse. Zechariah 5:3-4 And he said to me, “This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what it says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished. 4The Lord Almighty declares, ‘I will send it out, and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by my name. It will remain in his house and destroy it, both its timbers and its stones.’”Proverbs 1:19-Such is the end of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the lives of those who get it .  Brethren i pray that God will have mercy and forgive . If you have stole from someone or robbed any one please go and make restitution today.

We have been able to establish that stealing is a sin,if it were not a sin God will not curse thieves. Stealing is a sin and sin has its own rewards . The bible made us to understand that Solomon is the wisest man God created. In 2 chronicles 6, King Solomon established that sin has rewards .Below are some of the rewards of sin  :
1)   Sin causes unanswered prayers – 2 chronicles 2:21 Hear the supplications of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.

2) Sin causes us to loose battles and our possessions-  2 chronicles 2:24-25 “When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you and when they turn back and give praise to your name, praying and making supplication before you in this temple, ²⁵ then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel and bring them back to the land you gave to them and their ancestors.

3) Sin causes the heavens to be shut -2 chronicles 2:26-27 “When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and give praise to your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, ²⁷ then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel. Teach them the right way to live, and send rain on the land you gave your people for an inheritance.

4)Sin causes famine and hunger 2 chronicles 2:28-30  “When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when enemies besiege them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come, ²⁹ and when a prayer or plea is made by anyone among your people Israel-being aware of their afflictions and pains, and spreading out their hands toward this temple- ³⁰ then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive, and deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know the human heart),

4) Sin causes us to be captives    2 chronicles 2:36-39 “When they sin against you-for there is no one who does not sin-and you become angry with them and give them over to the enemy, who takes them captive to a land far away or near; ³⁷ and if they have a change of heart in the land where they are held captive, and repent and plead with you in the land of their captivity and say, ‘We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly’; ³⁸ and if they turn back to you with all their heart and soul in the land of their captivity where they were taken, and pray toward the land you gave their ancestors, toward the city you have chosen and toward the temple I have built for your Name; ³⁹ then from heaven, your dwelling place, hear their prayer and their pleas, and uphold their cause. And forgive your people, who have sinned against you.
If you have been robbing God in your tithes and offerings please stop . If you have been robbing people in a way please stop today.
I pray that the Almighty God will forgive all our sins in Jesus name .I pray that God will give us the grace and the ability to obey his words . I pray for the grace to honor God in our tithes and offering .

Red sea experiences

This is a story about the children when God delivered them from the hands of the Egyptians.When the almighty God remembered them,he acknowledged them and decided to deliver them from the Egyptians. I pray today that God will look down from his throne today and acknowledge you in the Jesus name amen.
I will like to shed lights on what transpired at the red sea.
Exodus 14:9-says the Egyptians decided to chase after the children of Israel .Even though they had presence of God and they were God’s favorite, they still had challenges. Brethren the fact that you are a christian does not exempt you from challenges, I have a good news for you, Psalm 34:19 says a righteous man may have many troubles but the lord delivers him from it all. I pray that God will deliver you from that problem, financial mess,joblessness,bareness in Jesus name.Amen
Exodus 14:13-When the children of Israel started complaining,Moses replied ‘Do not be afraid, the Egyptians you see today ,you shall see again no more forever.’ Moses confessed what he wanted. During problems and Challenges, what you confess with your mouth will decide what happens. Numbers 14:28- as I live, says the lord ,’just as you have spoken in my hearing, so I will do to you. Stop confessing loss, diseases,sickness, failure , confess good health, prosperity, favor during challenges. God listens to every conversations, always confess the result you want.
Exodus 14:10 – the children became afraid when they saw the Egyptians. The children of Israel saw their challenges not God,They forgot that they are on the winning side,they forgot that the Holy one of Israel is not a civilian. Jeremiah 11:17says the lord is the Lord of Host. As many of you that are facing one challenges or other , do not worry God will help you. Jeremiah 17:17 says he is the hope in the day of doom.
Exodus 14:15- God intervened and told Moses to lift up the rod and stretch his hand over the sea and divide it. God will intervene to day in Jesus name. Psalm 10:14 calls him the helper of the fatherless.
Exodus 14:19-20 a cloud demarcated the children of Israel and the Egyptians. The cloud gave light to the Children of Israel and cast a shadow on the Egyptians . Brethren God is great, The cloud was so bright that it looked like mid-day in the camp of the children of Israel , the same cloud was so dark that it looked like mid-night in the camp of the Egyptians. I pray that God will cause light to shine on your path today in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Exodus 14:21- the lord caused a strong east wind to blow all night, and made the sea into dry land. I will like to point something here brethren, the bible recorded that a strong east wind blew a sea into a dry land. A wind that divides a sea into two is not a small wind. We hear of Hurricanes blowing off roof tops and tornadoes destroying buildings but tornadoes and hurricanes are just cool breeze compared to this particular wind from the east. I feel sorry for anything around when this kind of wind blows but to our surprise this wind did not affect the children of Israel. It does not matter how strong the wind is , it will not harm you because you are standing with Christ. Psalm 18:2 says the lord is a rock, fortress,deliverer,shield and stronghold.
Exodus 14:22 -the children went on ground land. There are so many reasons why the lord made sure they walked on dry land, some of the reasons are: 1- it is more comfortable to walk on dry land than in the mud; 2- the children of Israel of will work faster on dry land compared to muddy waters; 3-to preserve their leather shoes and sandals as we all know that leathers and water don’t get along and lastly God just wanted you to know that he has the power to do all things.
Exodus 14:25 -the Egyptians chased after the children of Israel on the dry land and the lord took of their chariot wheels.The lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh that he chased the children of Israel into the red sea. Those enemies,challenges that are bent on disturbing you God will sort them out today in the mighty name of Jesus.

Friends , it does not matter what you are going through as far as you have God on your side, then victory is guaranteed.God has the ability to deal with all threats 1 Kings 13:4 -A king pointed his hands at a man of God and the hand dried up .I pray today that every hands,situations pointing at you to destroy you will dry up.Amen. The lord can make your enemies to be humble at your feet.1 kings 20:1 -king of Syria besieged Samara, by the time we got to 1 kings 20:21-the armies of Syrians were slaughtered in there thousands,the bible records it as a great slaughter. The Syrians decided that since the God of Israel is a God of hills, they will attack Israel in the plain 1 Kings 20:23 . 1 Kings 20:31 -the King of Syria and the few that were left had no other choice than to be humble because they found out that the Lord is also a Warrior in the plain . The lord can save anywhere, in the sea,on the hills and in the valley. The lord can also fight his enemies in the sea, on the hills and in the valley.
I ask you this question today, are you a friend of God ?John 15:14 -Jesus said you are my friends if you do whatever I command you. Matthew 11:28 – Jesus said Come to me , all you who labor and are heavy laden, and he will give you rest.John 14:6 -Jesus says he is the way the truth and life, no one goes to the father except through him.1 John 2:23 says whoever denies the son does not have the father either;he who acknowledges the son has the father also .
If you have not giving your life to Christ , it is not too late . He will forgive all your sins , did I hear ALL ? Yes all .If you have giving your life before and backslided ,Jesus wants to take you back.
You can do so now by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is lord . Please pray this prayer with me : Lord Jesus, I give myself to You,for You to be my only Lord and Savior. I renounce and repudiate all other loyalties, and I desire no other Lord but You. Please come into me and take control of my life.Mold me to your will and to your use. I ask that you drive out all other spirits which conflict with you in anyway. I want to belong only to you, to be subject only to you. I make this prayer to you, in your name ,the name of Jesus . Amen .

It is a fearful thing to fall in the hands of God

Hebrews 10:31- it is fearful thing to fall in the hands of God. This bible verse has two meanings:
First of all, God is not a GENTLE man Hebrew 12:29 says Our God is a consuming fire , Jeremiah 10:6 says he is not only great but his name is great in might which means anything that is trying to disturb you is in trouble. Paul and Silas found themselves in a prison bound in chains . Acts 16:25-26 says Paul and Silas decided to put things in the hands of God by praying and singing, the result of this was an earthquake which shook the foundations of the prison rendering them free. The children of Israel after leaving Egypt saw the Chariots of Pharaoh behind them, they started to cry and complain to Moses. Exodus 14:13-31 says Moses decided to put things in the hand of the Lord. By the time God finished with Egyptians ,they never entertained the idea of chasing the children of Israel again. I pray that God will so much deal with all your enemies that they will never entertain the idea of the disturbing you again.The widow of Zarephath had only one meal left for herself and her son, after that death. She came in contact with Elijah( a prophet of God), 1kings 17:11-14 records that after the God dealt with her situation she had enough not only for her family but to feed an extra mouth . Solomon was a young man who had just been made king of Israel . He required wisdom to lead the nation of God’s people.2kings 1:6-12 says Solomon succeeded in getting the attention of God through is offering of a thousand burnt offerings. God was shocked and he decided to ask this young king what he wants , Solomon asked for wisdom and God said ok. By the time God finished with Solomon 1 kings 4:32 says Solomon spoke only 3000 proverbs and wrote 1005 songs. Mark 5:24-34 tells the story of a woman who few problems. She was sick, weak,ashamed, lonely,single,poor,frustrated,unhappy, sad, barren,jobless to mention a few. I believe we all understand the scale of her problems that she had all the problems anyone we could imagine at the same time. She decided to hand things over to God by touching the hem of Jesus garment and she experienced a new beginning: all her problems was solved.
Secondly, The only way not to fall in the hands of God is to obey God. It is important to obey God and live a holy life. Psalm 84:11 says God will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly. Exodus 23:22 says if you indeed obey his voice and all that God speaks , all your enemies will be his enemies. I am very sorry for your enemies because very soon they will be God’s enemies. Psalm 5:12 says God will not only bless the righteous but, with favor he will surround them as a shield. Several years ago , my mum sent me on an errand to her friends house . On getting to the house I did not know that her dog had just giving birth and was nursing her puppies. On entering the compound the dog saw me and thought I came to steal her puppies, she chased me and I ran so fast . If I was put beside Usain bolt that day I will outrun him because I was really terrified. If a dog can do this to protect her puppies imagine God in heaven what he will do when he surrounds his children with favor,i leave you to imagine it. Psalm 11:7 says God is righteous,he loves righteousness and his countenance beholds the upright. Jeremiah 7:23 says if you want it to be well with you just obey God. Psalm 35:17 says God has pleasure in the prosperity of his own that he delights in your prosperity.
It is important to obey God so that we can be his friends .John 15:14 says his friends are those who obey his commandments. James 1:17 says every good and perfect gift is from God and Jeremiah 5:25 says sins withhold good things from us. Every perfect gift God has planned for us we will receive in the name of Jesus. I pray that as we make the decision to obey God , God will surround you with Favor.
Is there anyone who is yet to give his/her life to Christ ,1 John 2:23 says whoever denies the son does not have the father, Matthew 11:28 says come to me all who are weary and burdened and he will give you rest. Brethren , God wants to save you that is why he sent his only begotten son ( John 3:16) .Jesus wants to save you today and give you life. John 10:10 says thieves come to steal and destroy but Jesus came so that we might have life and have it abundance. If you have not giving your life to Christ , it is not too late .
